From wild rabbits that were culled, picked up deceased due to suspected viruses or hit by vehicles. 
Tasmania has a feral bunny overpopulation right now coming into spring. Some properties are destroyed by over 100 visiting feral rabbits a night and sometimes the road to our property is covered in rabbits come dusk. 
Spring is often when I get calls to help collect deceased bunnies from properties, roads or the local school. The situation is for every 100 rabbits there are only 5 casualties I pick up a week unless a scheduled contract cull is in place.
