Across Australia fallow deer roam wild, while in Tasmania they are particularly protected, across the mainland they are considered introduced.
Fallow deer provide food for hunters to support self sufficiency.
However these juvenile bucks are not a product of hunting or a cull, they're roadkill collected and processed in S.A.
Due to the nature of their collection there may be 2-3 missing teeth.
Listing is for 1 buck skull with mandible.
*May vary slightly from the picture shown, but all buck in this listing are of very similar size and spike length and almost identical to one another.
**Clean but possibly natural earth staining could be present.
Processing
I run a very particular procedure when cleaning skulls. Everything is washed and sterilised in between batches.
I have heated indoor tubs for degreasing and whitening. Heating is at a 22.8°C maximum and the whitening agent I use is 12% hydrogen peroxide dilution with fresh water and peroxide for each skull batch.
All smaller animal skulls are done separately to save damage from anything larger.
All degreasing tubs are freshened weekly for the best results possible.
