Chick Wet Specimen | Black Base

A chick that didn't hatch. Now safely sleeping in a 45mm glass dome with a black base. 
I've had to clean out my freezer and have had these chicks prepared for months and need to quickly move some stock on. 
No chicks harmed in making this, they died naturally inside the egg under the hen. When they do not hatch the hen has to leave the nest anyway with the babies that did hatch so they can eat, get to water and forage.
Fixation: All specimens are properly preserved using 10% NBF for a minimum of 21 days per 60g of each species. All specimens have been injected into each section of the body to make sure we get all the internal organs as well as the outside. 
Specimens are removed from formalin by soaking in distilled water. 
This specimen is suspended in a glycerine alcohol solution. This specimen won't need regular changing and with proper care will last a lifetime.
