They are a byproduct of meat, and the leg would otherwise go to waste, but not here. Deer toe bones are durable, sturdy, and thick. Great for larger projects and a popular choice for carving or drilling. They will range from 3 cm to 5 cm.
 
Keeping it as ethical as possible, bones from this species are selected at random, but you will receive bones from the species stated. Stock will depend on what we have cleaned and available or what animals we currently have access to during that time of year or season.
 
No animals are harmed for the purpose of collecting their bones. I live on a homestead with poultry and other animals as well as a lot of farming contacts and suppliers. Animals will and do die, but our utmost priority is the health, safety, and welfare of our livestock; the bones are just a byproduct of natural death, illness, or meat.
